KS3 history students get creative

Students in Years 7 and 8 have been producing fantastic projects for homework as part of the history schemes of work. Year 7, who have been studying the persecution of women during the Civil War as part of a unit on crime and punishment during the Tudors and Stuarts, were tasked with creating projects on witches. In Year 8, students have been studying the changing use of castles during a unit on power and control in the Medieval period; as part of this, they have been creating accurate replicas at home. 

As you can see above and below, the students deserve congratulating for the painstaking attention to detail on show; we would also like to recognise the contribution of parents who must have provided transport to get some of the larger models to school!
