Year 9 students umpire at Year 6 Cricket Festival

On Tuesday 5th June, Year 9 Sports Leaders helped to host a fantastic day of cricket for ÇéÉ«ÎåÔÂÌì's feeder primary schools at Chorleywood Cricket Club. One hundred and fifty Year 6 students from Maple Cross JMI School, The Russell School, Christ Church Church of England Primary School, Sarratt Church of England Primary School and Chorleywood Primary School took part in a whole day of cricket at the event.

Year 6 classes were split into three teams A, B & C to compete in their own competition. Congratulations to Christ Church who won Competition C, Sarratt School, winners of Competition B and Maple Cross School who won Competition A. Each winning team will go through to represent the district in the area finals on the 7th June. Well done to all those who took part.

Special thanks go to the Year 9 Sports Leaders who umpired at the event and helped make the successful day run so smoothly: Connor, Charlie, Ned, Oliver, Hemil, Orla, Chloe, Nicola, Olivia, Olivia and Connor.
