It was the students’ first experience of the competition which took the form of a debate. The team comprised of Matilda Brocklehurst (Chairperson), Amelie Mansour (Proposer) and Archie Bentham (Opposer). The team now go through to the District Finals on Tuesday 25th February at Vandyke Upper School in Leighton Buzzard.  Thanks also to English Teacher Mrs McLetchie George who organised practice sessions for the winning students, and also supports entrants at the various competitions that our students attend in respect of debate and public speaking.
