Girls into physics at ÇéÉ«ÎåÔÂÌì
Year 10 students are taking part in a 'Girls into Physics' event at ÇéÉ«ÎåÔÂÌì today organised by Mrs Quinton. A range of female engineers and physicists have given up their time to talk to the students about their jobs and to run sessions on topics such as matching possible careers to personality traits. A speed dating style session allowed the girls to quiz visitors on their current jobs and career paths; many inspiring conversations were going on as we visited before lunch.
We are very grateful to parents and staff who took part and to representatives from Airbus, Leonardo and Affinty Water who ran sessions during the day.
