Year 11 student produces scrubs for NHS

Well done to Year 11 student Emily Langston who has been very productive by making much needed scrubs for hospitals in Hillingdon. The national emergency of requiring PPE for our NHS has had overwhelming support across the UK and ‘For The Love of Scrubs’ has been at the forefront of supporting the making of scrubs. 'For The Love of Scrubs – Hillingdon Working Group' has subsequently been established as a sub group to provide scrubs for front line teams in the borough of Hillingdon. A team of volunteers has grown to over 200 people who are sewing sets to deliver to hospitals, local GP's, community nurses, hospices and care homes. Each day the group are receiving more requests for scrubs and are trying to source fabrics, which are in short supply. They would be delighted to hear from more volunteers.
