ÇéÉ«ÎåÔÂÌì Virtual Christmas Concert 2020
We regrettably were unable to hold our hugely popular Christmas Concert this year due to the current pandemic; however, due to the mastery of our Head of Music, Miss Stevens alongside our Music teacher, Mr Butterfield, we were able to produce a Virtual Christmas Concert for everyone to still enjoy.
Miss Stevens stated “The recordings for this concert are a combination of socially distance recordings in school and solo and family groups at home. I am so grateful for all the entries that were sent in. I hope this concert will bring a sense of hope to you all and I look forward so much to when we can perform and appreciate music together again.”
Students were asked to send in an audio recording of themselves performing a Christmas themed song, either in the form of playing an instrument, singing, acting, either solo or as a family ensemble. It was truly superb to hear our gifted students performing (and some of their talented families supporting), please click below to hear the final recording of the concert.
A big thank you to Miss Stevens, Mr Butterfield and the entire Performing Arts faculty, for producing such an astounding concert and keeping the Christmas spirit alive for our students, parents, staff and the wider school community, albeit virtually!
