20th DecemberChristmas Concert 2024
The Barbirolli Hall was filled with festive cheer as we hosted our annual Christmas concert on Tuesday 18th December. The evening showcased an array of talent, including captivating student solo performances and pre-concert carols beautifully played by the Brass Band.
The Second Orchestra charmed the audience with a heart-warming rendition of The Russian Dance and Waltz of the Flowers, setting a magical tone for the evening.
Exceptional performances followed from the Jazz Band, Chamber Choir, Junior and Senior Choirs, and the Barbershop Choir. Traditional carols were also sung throughout the night, adding to the festive spirit.
As the concert drew to a close, the headteacher expressed gratitude for the outstanding contributions and dedication of the students and staff involved. A special thanks was extended to the Parents' Association for serving delightful festive refreshments.
The evening also included a collection for the Sixth Form’s nominated charities: Mission EmployAble, Chiltern Neuro Centre, and Pumpkin’s Wildlife Hospital.
